commissions every
commission is unique and designed to suit each customer's own
style, personality and budget. A commission is a magnificent
alternative to mass-produced jewellery generally available on
the high street and it needn't be expensive because you define
your own budget.
I have always preferred to make handmade individual pieces
rather than cast designs reproducing them 100s of times. My
commissioned pieces are unique designs, this means that I will
only ever make one example of each of my designs. I believe the
value of a piece is in the design and hand making techniques,
culminating in a truly bespoke piece.
precious metal work is hallmarked in The Assay
Office Scotland.

It is a legal requirement in the UK that all silver, gold and
platinum jewellery is officially assayed. This means that it is
checked for metal purity and stamped with a hallmark to prove
it. I have my own stamp lodged with the Edinburgh Assay Office,
Scotland, which means the purity of metal is guaranteed. My
collection is stamped with my initials KH. This way my pieces
can be identified as mine. It is like an artist signing their
paintings.
Commissions start from around £80 Please contact me for further
information.
