why I design and make jewellery

When I left school I studied  art and design.  I was always  passionate about creating new pieces of jewellery and ceramics from my designs. Many years later I returned to my long lost passion after a career as an educationalist, dedicating my time to jewellery design.  So - the reasons why are; in creating something that will be treasured by a customer is satisfying and enjoyable.  I like the idea that my collections will be worn and admired by people and that gives me a sense that I am doing something meaningful and worthwhile.  I never lose interest in creating new pieces.
